We all crave a happier, more fulfilling, and healthier life — THAT´S A FACT.
Yet, despite this universal desire, many of us struggle to find a clear path toward achieving it.
We’re bombarded with advice from friends, social media, and self-help videos, leaving us OVERWHELEMED AND CONFUSED about what’s genuinely beneficial.
We want the best for ourselves, but often feel stuck, unable to make meaningful changes, and wondering where it all went wrong.
Torn between countless tips, we end up feeling disconnected from our own bodies and the structure of our daily lives.
But here’s the thing — this confusion and discomfort are perfectly NORMAL.
The modern world is designed to keep us feeling this way.
What started as a quest for progress has led to lifestyles that are completely misaligned with our natural human instincts.
Over the last few decades, we’ve drifted further away from our ancestral way of living than ever before, leaving us feeling mentally and physically unhealthy.
The truth is, our bodies are still operating with the same blueprint as they did 50,000 YEARS AGO.
We’ve evolved to thrive in natural environments, not in this hyper-stimulated, technology-driven society.
The Masculinity Crisis in the Modern World
In my view, men, in particular, are struggling with this disconnect.
Today, the expression of masculinity is often suppressed, leaving many men feeling LOST AND UNSURE of their identity.
If you compare modern life with that of our ancestors, it’s like comparing two entirely different species.
Back then, life was a constant challenge — hunting for food, braving the elements, and ensuring survival.
There were no comfortable homes with heating, running water, and electricity.
Life was lived outdoors, guided by the natural rhythm of the sun.
Movement was a necessity, NOT A CHOICE.
Those who didn’t move simply didn’t survive.
In ancient times, people lived in tight-knit communities, relying on authentic social interactions and cooperation for survival.
There was natural competition, openly expressed, which created clear social hierarchies.
Today, our social interactions are largely virtual, stripped of authenticity.
Instead of working together for survival, we’re competing for likes and validation online.
And forget about natural diets — our ancestors didn’t need calorie counters or restrictive eating plans.
They ate what nature provided, free from the processed junk that dominates our diets today.
The Modern Day-to-Day: A Far Cry from Our Roots
Consider a typical day in the modern world – You wake up in a dark, cozy room, dragging yourself out of a warm bed with an alarm clock before the sun is even up.
Already, your natural circadian rhythm is DISRUPTED.
You eat a quick, processed breakfast and head to work.
On the way, everyone sits silently on public transport, staring at their phones, getting their social interaction fix through screens instead of face-to-face conversations.
At work, you sit at a desk, typing away at a computer while the sun rises and sets outside.
You’re too afraid to approach the attractive coworker because rejection seems too daunting, and because she’s one of the few women you see regularly, it feels like a high-stakes game.
Meanwhile, another colleague makes clumsy advances, but open CONFLICT IS AVOIDED it’s deemed inappropriate in our conflict-averse office culture.
Competition is DISCOURAGED in favor of a fake sense of equality, leaving everyone frustrated but pretending to be content.
By the time you get home, it’s dark.
You grab a frozen pizza, scroll mindlessly through social media, and indulge in whatever instant gratification you can find — junk food, pornography, or endless streaming.
This cycle repeats itself, leaving you physically inactive, mentally drained, and socially isolated.
The Evolutionary Mismatch
The contrast between this modern routine and the lives of our ancestors is stark.
The modern lifestyle is, in many ways, an AFFRONT TO OUR HUMAN NATURE.
We evolved to thrive in environments where stimuli were scarce and usually signaled danger.
Today, our brains are constantly bombarded with notifications, ads, and distractions, leading to stress and attention deficits.
Our need for quick rewards has been hijacked by instant gratification — from fast food to social media, everything is designed to keep us HOOKED.
Our ancestors moved naturally as part of their daily survival, but today, the instinct to conserve energy results in sedentary lifestyles.
This lack of movement has serious consequences, from obesity to heart disease.
Even though we’re more “connected” than ever, we’ve never felt more alone.
Humans are wired to live in close-knit groups, but today’s hyper-individualism leaves us feeling isolated and depressed.
The Price of Comfort
Modern society’s focus on comfort and convenience has made us physically and mentally weak.
We’ve lost our connection to nature, falling into a “hedonic treadmill” where material possessions are mistaken for happiness.
With endless choices at our fingertips, we face decision paralysis, often feeling more lost than liberated.
In essence, we’re like animals in a zoo — safe, but deeply UNHAPPY.
On a broader scale, the mental health crisis is worsening.
Depression, anxiety, and burnout are on the rise, largely due to our unnatural way of living.
And the consequences don’t stop there.
This disconnect from nature also means a loss of our true masculine and feminine essence, leading to depolarized gender roles and STRAINED RELATIONSHPS
The Solution: A Return to Natural Living
Here at Mensground, we believe it’s time to question the direction our lives have taken.
Human history offers clear clues about what we need to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
Whenever you’re unsure about what’s good for you, ask yourself: Would this have been beneficial in a natural environment?
Start by restoring your physical health with natural movements like calisthenics, running, climbing, and strength training.
Spend more time outdoors, soaking up sunlight and fresh air, and eat a diet of whole, unprocessed foods.
Focus on mental well-being by reducing digital consumption, practicing mindfulness, and reconnecting with nature.
It’s also vital to rebuild your social life in a meaningful way.
We’re social creatures by nature, and real community interactions can significantly boost your well-being.
Host regular gatherings, celebrate life’s milestones, and create rituals that foster connection.
By doing so, you’ll find that many dating and relationship struggles resolve themselves NATURALLY as you embrace authentic masculinity and femininity, wired to reproduce.
